Set Yourself A Goal

It is important to have a long term goal that is realistic and achievable in the time that you have to achieve it. However, it is more important that you have plenty of short term goals, as these will help you to achieve your long term goal. The choice is yours; you know what motivates you so make sure it is realistic and short term to start with. It may be a time target for a specific stroke and distance or it may be as simple as completing a set. Try and write down your goal prior to that session and evaluate it afterwards; this will help you to stay on track in achieving the long term goal.

Why not visit the "My Swimfit" area where you can work towards distance goals such as swimming the Amazon.
